iQOO Z10: The mid-range smartphone segment is about to get a new contender as iQOO gears up to launch its latest offering, the iQOO Z10, in India on April 11. While the device brings several notable upgrades to the table, what truly sets it apart is its mammoth 7,300mAh battery—currently unmatched by any mainstream phone in the market.
According to teasers released by the company, this enormous battery won’t compromise on charging speeds either. The Z10 will support 90W fast charging, capable of juicing up the device from zero to 50% in just 33 minutes, which is impressive considering the battery size.
Surprisingly slim despite the massive battery
One might expect such a large battery to result in a bulky device, but iQOO has managed to keep the iQOO Z10 relatively slim at just 7.9mm thick. This engineering feat should ensure the phone remains comfortable to hold despite housing what could be the largest battery in a mainstream smartphone today.

Performance that packs a punch
Under the hood, the iQOO Z10 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This 4nm processor, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, promises smooth performance for both everyday tasks and gaming sessions on the iQOO Z10.
A screen that shines—literally
The iQOO Z10 will feature a quad-curved AMOLED panel with an eye-popping 5,000 nits of peak brightness, making it one of the brightest displays in its segment. This exceptional brightness should ensure excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. Additionally, the display is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and gaming experiences.
Camera system for versatile photography
On the imaging front, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z10 will sport a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. While details about the other two sensors remain sparse, they’re likely to include ultra-wide and macro lenses for versatile photography. Selfie enthusiasts can look forward to a 32-megapixel front camera for high-quality self-portraits and video calls.
Software and additional features
The iQOO Z10 will run on Funtouch OS 15, based on the latest Android 15. Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of iQOO’s Ultra Game Mode, which optimizes the gaming experience with features like touch acceleration and frame rate boosting. Other expected features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and 5G connectivity.
Expected pricing and availability
The iQOO Z10 is expected to be priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with possible bank offers bringing the effective price down to Rs 19,999. At this price point, it will compete directly with popular mid-rangers like the Redmi Note 13 Pro, Realme 12 Pro, and OnePlus Nord CE 4.
iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z10 will be available for purchase through Amazon India, with pre-orders likely to open shortly after the launch event on April 11.
iQOO Z10x: A more affordable alternative
In addition to the Z10, iQOO is also expected to unveil a more budget-friendly variant, the iQOO Z10x. While the iQOO Z10 targets the mid-range segment, the Z10x will reportedly feature a 6,500mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, and a dual-camera setup with a distinctive ring flash.
Leaks suggest that the Z10x will also sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and fast charging support, making it an attractive option in the budget segment. The Z10x is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000, catering to users looking for an affordable yet capable 5G device.
