Jio ₹69 Plan: What’s Changed?
Earlier, the ₹69 plan provided 6GB of high-speed data and remained valid for the same duration as your existing base plan. However, Jio has now reduced its validity to just 7 days, regardless of your base plan’s duration.
Jio ₹139 Plan: New Validity Details
The ₹139 plan previously offered 12GB of high-speed data and was valid for as long as your base plan. Now, just like the ₹69 plan, it comes with a fixed validity of 7 days, making it a less flexible option than before.
Are Users Gaining or Losing?
For instance, earlier, if you had 50 days left on your base plan, the ₹69 recharge would also be valid for 50 days. Now, even if your base plan has 30 or 50 days remaining, this data plan will expire in just 7 days.
This change means that users have lost out, as these were the only two data plans that previously matched the validity of the base plan. Now, customers will need to recharge more frequently, making it a disadvantageous move for many.
